Welcome to Woodlands Edge |

Woodlands Edge is more than just a beautiful, richly wooded place to live. It is a community created to honor and preserve nature’s gifts and the tranquility they bring to our daily life.

Unlike most planned communities, more than one-third of our heavily wooded landscape has been preserved and will remain as permanent forest land. Although this reduces the number of homes which can be developed, it increases the quality of life for those fortunate enough to live here. This level of quality, caring and environmental stewardship has already earned Woodlands Edge several major awards.

One of the greatest honors for Woodlands Edge was being featured as the cover article in the National Association of Home Builder's Land Development magazine.
This 8 page article describes the developer's vision and goals of environmental stewardship in the creation of Woodlands Edge. We are proud to announce that Woodlands Edge is a leader in conservation development on a national scale. The article was published in Summer 2006, Vol. 19, No. 3. | | Each neighborhood has its own controlled entry points with a street system designed to reduce traffic volume, speed and cut-through. Picturesque “roundabouts” slow traffic at key points. After all, with all this beauty, why hurry?
Almost every home site adjoins a densely wooded area thoughtfully preserved to provide privacy, environmental integrity and a personal closeness to nature. An environmental specialist and tree expert is actually part of our development team. |
| | Woodlands Edge offers many opportunities for hiking, nature study, and wildlife obeservation. Miles of nature trails penetrate our greenbelts. For family fun, a community center, swimming pool, tennis courts and a play area are in the works. Also planned are streamside picnic sites, camping and gardening opportunities exclusively for Woodlands Edge residents.
