Managing Member & Community Planner
Ron is managing member of Rocket Properties, LLC. He is also President of Tyne and Associates, a planning, design and development firm focusing on residential community development. His career in land development began in 1974 and he has been extensively involved in every aspect of real estate development including market analysis, site selection, land acquisition, site analysis, planning, design, and development of marketing strategies and sales of the completed projects. With a bachelor's degree in Forestry and a Master's in Landscape Architecture, he has a unique and diverse professional background in land planning, forest management and real estate development. He introduced environmentally sensitive planning and development in Arkansas in the late 1980's.
His philosophy of land development is one that showcases environmental stewardship coupled with proven economic results. His work has received many national, state, and local awards and has been recognized by numerous conservation and professional organizations for low impact development and sustainable site design and he is a frequent speaker on the subject.
He is a member of the Council of Fellows of The American Society of Landscape Architects and a licensed Landscape Architect in Arkansas, an advisory board member of the Arkansas Urban Forestry Council, Certified Green Professional and Life Director of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Little Rock.
He continues to learn, teach, test and perfect techniques and concepts of "green development" and sustainable site design. Spare time is spent enjoying family activities, reading, traveling and gaining a deeper understanding of human needs and the resulting impact on the natural environment.
